Ready for some etsy time!

My wholesale business has taken off like crazy. I am thirteen stores now and have been very busy stamping silver disks for large store orders! On one hand this is very great. On the other hand, it's left me very little time to play with my creativity and make new items for my etsy store. So I have decided that in addition to painting my bedroom next week, I really need to make some new etsy pieces! I miss it! These are some of my favorite earrings ever! I wish I had kept them!

It's Been So Long!

Wow, I have not written in so very long and I am sorry! I have been swamped with work and etsy has been slighted! I have five stores going full throttle with my jewelry and have been working on orders of 80 pieces at a time! I have also been contacted by a rep who found my stamped disk necklaces at a store in Alabama and she is representing me and selling my jewelry to her stores through out the state! We are working on a design for the University of Alabama and I am hoping it's going to work out! In the meantime, I have had to come up with a name for this line and am working on fine tuning it! I am getting a printer to print my cards and that will free up my part time employee to help me with other things and take out half the process of packaging! Anyway... between this and the zulu charms I am making 90 to nothing... I am very busy and so I aplogize for slacking!
Wow... the first picture is the first disk I stamped over a year ago... before my block came in... and the second is one of my best sellers... You've come a long way Baby!

Yeah... I got a treasury!

I totally love making these collections on etsy! If you are lucky, yours can be picked for the front page! I wish I could just print it out on a T-shirt! I have been trying to figure out how to post this thing the past three times I have had one. Tonight, a brilliant fellow etsian told me how! Woo Hoo!!!!! Now I have to make a fresh mini for the top of my blog page!
Possible Opportunity

Oh... I have to blog a little bit about this today because it "could" be an important date for me.
I have a dear friend on a trip in California to meet and have dinner with someone very cool. I have FedExed her a package to give this very cool person that "could" open a door of opportunity for me. Oooooo, I don't even want to dare think it... anyway... it cost me $35 to send these two special necklaces and it "could" be the best $35 I have ever spent... we'll see... it's in God's hands now... (and the Fed Ex driver!).
And the Winner Is...... !

"Two Bees in a Pod" is the first winner of my blog contest and won this free pair of adorable ivory and seed bead earrings! I decided to make the drawing early and move on with the next one! I'll announce the new contest tomorrow. You can check out her out at http://www.twobeesinapod.etsy.com/ Check back and enter to win the next free gift.... hmmmmm.... what will it be!? It could be for YOU!

I am slam busy today with special orders.... I'll be back tomorrow!

Have a wonderful day! ~

WOO HOO!!!!!!

I am blown away with the blessings God is pouring out upon my business right now! I had a meeting with another store yesterday and they made an order! I'm in another store! I have an appointment with the "sister" store in PTC next Monday and another one in Newnan this Friday.

I have also gotten several etsy sales this week and private requests and orders for my Mother's Day necklace from my personal blog! Now if the UPS can just get my disks here, I can get back on track. I was suppposed to receive and order Friday to make up a collection for the store yesterday. Well, they LOST them. At 7 p.m. on Friday, UPS was STILL trying to tell me they were "scheduled" for delivery that day. The truck had been through the neighborhood hours before... I knew it wasn't happening! Then the same thing happened yesterday and so the company sent out a replacement order yesterday that should be here tomorrow... should being the key word!

So we'll see... I am supposed to get 50 tomorrow and there is already a huge dent in that order... yee haw! I had a handful of disks left from my last order and so I made up "samples" and took them to the store yesterday and it was fine.... whewwww! I also made a contact with a store in Seaside and need to send them samples this week to order from and so now they are already made and ready! It kinda ended up being a blessing. I also sold a smaple right off the table where I met a friend for lunch yesterday!

So I am blessed and thrilled to be having a great month. Thank you Lord!

Spring Time at the Beach!

I usually don't share much about my personal life on this blog... I have a seperate one for that... but I couldn't resist! We just got back from our favorite beach, Seaside, and had a wonderful time! Now that I have had some relaxation, sun and fun... I am back to creating!

I have an appointment with a new store on Monday. I am nervous but excited and hopeful. Then I have another one later that week and I also made a connection in Seaside and am sending the owner some samples and order sheet.... three stores this month would be a very sweet and bountiful blessing! Maybe I could splurge and get my laptop!!!! Wish me luck! :0)

I am a stamping fool! I love making these necklaces! This one is one of my favorite ones to stamp. I think being real is one of the most precious gifts you can give yourself and others! I am also loving this hand I bought at the Vintage Flea for display and my photographs... I love the lines on it and the way it gracefully holds my creations! :0)

I've got several special orders for Mother's Day necklaces! :0) I am also doing graduation necklaces this year... very fun. I was supposed to get an order of disks in today and they didn't arrive!!!!! I am way BUMMED since I have a viewing appoitment with a new store Monday! UGHHHHHH... very angry at the UPS right now! :0(

New Shop Banner

I love to use my photographs as my shop banner. If I could only figure out how to put my shop name on it! :0( I've tried a couple of ways and it never works... so, I have other things to worry about right now! I took this photo last summer in Virginia Beach... I loved the way the yellow popped against the purple... and the texture... PERFECT!

This post also serves as another post to let you know that orders placed between April 5th and 10th will be mailed after April 11th!
I'm off to have some much needed fun and relaxation! Happy Spring Everyone!

Just in time for Mother's Day!

I made this necklace as part of a baby shower gift for a friend and I do love the way it turned out. The two sterling silver disks are hand stamped with names and then oxidized and hand polished. The cluster of beads represent: Pearl- the Lord, two silver - each parent, and the peridot represents life! I have made some of these and they sell before I can get them onto etsy! I've just sold four with clusters in different stones that said "Be Love", "Be Real", "Karma", and "Faith". I have two appointments with two other stores for these and so the ones I am making are reserved. But I decided to post this in case anyone wanted to order one for a mother's day gift for your mom, wife, sister, or grandmother! Just leave a comment with your contact information and I'll get in touch!

One disk necklace- $39 each additional stamped disk- $12 each

Other Artists #2

I am trying to spruce up my blog. Why? Well... it's just fun to do. I wish I had a job doing this kind of thing. Anyway. Isn't this amazing photograph by mesmanimages, http://www.mesmanimages.etsy.com/ just amazing! I've loved it for months and put it in my treasury this week. Two of the items I put in my treasury sold the next day!
Etsy is full of amazing artists!
I added several links to other blogs I like to visit. Most of them are other etsians and they are very talented. I love to read their blogs and get a glimpse into the person behind the etsy items! They are fun and friendly people... go meet them!
Don't forget to scroll down and enter my March/April contest to win a pair of free earrings!
I'm off to make some more items for my wonderful client, Amy. Her shop is wonderful... I need two more like her! Have a great weekend!

Other Artists #1

Artists on Etsy!

One of my favorite things about etsy is the fact you can find a HUGE collection of amazing artists there... often just hanging out in the forums and chatrooms. This BEAUTIFUL photograph is by one of my favorite etsy artists at

http://www.phoebec.etsy.com/ She is so talented and I love the color and texture in her work.

So check out her store and be amazed by her beautiful artwork!

I am TRYING to figure out how to get a collage of my favorites over here in blog land. I am so computer challenged... I am amazed I can even do as well as this! Hopefully I'll be sharing more than one artist at a time soon!

Coolest Stones Ever!

I found these stones at Mart yesterday when I had to go spend a FORTUNE on silver! ughhhh....

Anyway, focus.... I picked these stones up because they were this wonderful pale blue color and I thought they would be great wrapped in silver. So I am at the counter and the girl asks me,

"You know about these stones don't you?" "Nooooo...." I respond. "They change color, they become a deep lavender... go to the hallway... see for yourself." So I walk out the door with them in hand and wau lau.... they totally change before my eyes! It was so cool and then I knew I had to have them! So the deal is, in fluorescent light, they change to this pale blue color! So buy a pair and wear them and trip out your friends!
I am also so excited about the people I am meeting through my blog now! It's so much fun to see who stops by and check out their shops!
Have a great Easter!

Free Earrings!
I want to meet you! And I am also promoting my blog!

A fellow etsian is doing the same thing and so I was inspired! All you have to do is leave a comment and you will be eligible to win this free pair of earrings! They are made with beer bottle brown glass seed beads and vintage ivory beads! I just adore them!
Hopefully, I will make some new friends and be inspired to blog more on my jewelry blog. I have two blogs. I have another blog that is private for family and friends and so this one gets neglected sometimes. So not anymore!
I will do this on a monthly basis. So you can leave comments here until April 21. On that day, I will put your names in a bag (on my honor!) and randomly draw a name. I will contact you for your address and send you this lovely pair of earrings!
Thanks for joining me! Have fun and have a great day!

Fiesta Time!

I am totally loving this new bracelet. The first two I made were snatched up by a client who sells them in her shop and she's requested matching necklaces. So before I made her necklaces I HAD to get one in my shop! It's so fun and colorful and I love the dangles. This is my NEW favorite piece! (I should say bracelet bc I am totally loving my new wire wrapped lampwork bead necklaces too!)

Spring has come and gone!

Well, kinda. I have tweaked my line and come up with two lines, "Casual Collection" and the "Semi-Precious Collection". I made up many pieces to take to the store who sells my items and she bought the entire line! Yeah for me but oohhh for my etsy site! So... I am trying to make more pieces to put in my shop. I've also been doing some custom pieces and have one more set for prom to make. So keep watching... more items coming soon, I promise!

Spring is in the Air
Oh what a beautiful weekend we had here in Georgia! We drove around town with the top down and grilled outside and ate dinner on the deck both nights! I love that simple little time together. My husband grills and hands me stuff through the kitchen window and Abby runs back and forth setting the table!
These are some of my sweet blooms from last year.... I am so ready for Spring to come this year and to have my yard in bloom again!
I am busy making Spring creations. I have to take my collection to a store this Thursday and give her first pick and then the rest will be going up on etsy.... so stay tuned!

Happy Valentine's Day

Oh, the day of love... what a wonderful day to be creative on! I love this little colorful Valentine necklace. I think it represents the colors of love very well. After loving my husband for 15 years, we've weathered many colorful seasons of love. It is such a blessing to come out from all the storms love can bring your way, with a radiance and appreciation that can only come from God. Our love is just like this necklace... made up of many trials, seasons, opportunities, moods, expressions, memories, tears, and smiles... how precious, beautiful, and colorful it remains!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone... be colorful in the way you love others! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Banner Woes...

UGHHHH! I am TRYING to use this fun and colorful photo of one of my new favorite bracelets for my banner and it is not working! I can get the picture there but none of the text! I think I need some new software... like semi-current! I also need some computer lessons!

Anyway... flipping my brain over to Spring was much easier than I expected! I've got to knock out 5 special order necklaces this week and then

I can play some more!

Creating Again

My daughter is getting better and I am regaining strength and TIME from months of little to no sleep! The other night I opted to get less sleep because the urge to create was just too much! It feels so good to make things again. I have to now switch my head over to spring... it's always hard for me to leave the richness of fall colors behind!

So hopefully I'll have some new Spring items up soon. I have several special orders I am working on and then I can PLAY some more!
This is a very simple little Valentine's necklace I made. I love these "be true" pendants. There is so much to "be true" to... it's up to you!

Jewelry Making on Hold

I just wanted to post a short note that my new jewelry designs are going to be slow

coming. My daughter is very sick again and my days are full with caring for her. I will be posting things when I can and will be relisting items and posting beads for sale.
